Baby Swimming Class |
Camps Bay, Cape Town |
30 August 2007 |
Bella goes to a swimming class in Camps Bay. The pool is heated and ozonated so that the babies can enjoy the water safely. Classes involve singing nursery rhymes and doing certain actions with them to get the babies used to the water. Each baby also does a few "swims", where the instructor counts to 3, blows in the baby's face and then passes them under the water to the parent. The baby has a reflex which causes it to take a breath when you blow in its' face. They are underwater for less than 5 seconds.
As Rob was on leave for a week, he decided to get in the water with Bella to see what the class entailed.
